DIYdeals - Price List & Composition of Balustrade

Balustrade kits are for a run of 1m, 1.3m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.5m & 3.0m so that 2 x 1.5m sections will fit the 3.0/3.2m for a raised deck or a ground deck, 2 x 2m sections for the 4.0/4.2m & 2 x 2.5m sections the 5.0/5.1m. If there is a centre newel post on the sides (3.2m,4.2m,5,1m) you will need to use noggins to support the newel posts)

All outdoor timber is pressure treated.

The delivery charge will be £40 for delivery to mainland England (excluding Devon & Cornwall), Wales and Scotland up to the M8 corridor including Glasgow & Edinburgh. These delivery charges are for any quantity of decking kits, deck boards, balustrade, pergola or joist timbers. Delivery usually takes 1 to 10 working days. Southern Scotland may be up to 3 weeks, but for most of the season we manage within 1 to 10 working days.

Balustrade Kit prices include 1 Newel post, Top & Bottom Rails, Top infill rail and a Fixing kit containing 2 bolts with nuts & washers, 4 corner brackets with screws & 4mm x 50mm screws for fixing spindles to bottom rail and top infill rail. To finish off a run you will require an extra newel post. Please note that the bottom rail has the grooves pointing downwards and the infill rail is used only has a top infill rail until the top rail covers it.
N.B. for the raised decks with no noggins and all the ground decks you will also need a centre noggin 45mm x 95mm x width of deck with fixings - you will also require a drill bit for the bolts if ordering with a ground deck.
